“BRIC: Skills, safety and needs”

The aim of this project is to carry out a survey to assess the training needs/skills of students with regard to training in occupational safety and health (OSH).

The research will focus on the schools and training courses that prepare students for the work environments with the highest OSH risks, such as the tourism, hotel, mechanical and agricultural sectors. Attention will also be paid to the practices currently used in technical and vocational schools and in vocational education and training (VET) institutions to promote an OSH culture.

DATA2LEARN@EDU

"Data-Driven Learning Organisations in the Education Domain" was selected as one of the winning projects in the "Education and Training" section of the call for proposals onartificial intelligence promoted by Compagnia di San Paolo and Fondazione CDP.

The initiative proposes thesystematic analysis of learning outcomeswith particular reference to primary and secondary schools, in line with what has already been developed by the Fondazione per la Scuola in collaboration with the Politecnico di Torino in the analysis of school data with the 'Riconnessioni' project, with the Politecnico di Milano in the 'Divari Territoriali' project and with the LINKS Foundation in the 'School Data Dashboard - SDD' project.

In order to promote a more widespread and effective use of learning analytics, the project aims to promote the study and development of an accessible and immediate "dashboard", based on the use of artificial intelligence, capable of providingadequate support to teachers and school managerswho are constantly engaged in improving education, verifying its impact through the complex kaleidoscope of information.

Learning analytics can also be used to address the school's main challenges, such as early school leaving, difficulties in student collaboration, the development of argumentation and writing, and the development of computational thinking.
