This volume brings together six papers presented during the VIII edition of the Seminar “INVALSI data: a tool for research and teaching” (Rome, 23-26 November 2023) and addresses the theme of Learning to Learn (LtL), a key competence for lifelong learning, recognised by the European Union as essential for life and active citizenship.
The volume collects several research papers presented at the eighth edition of the “INVALSI Data: A Tool for Teaching and Scientific Research” seminar (Rome, 23-26 November 2023). The studies presented examine evaluation, self-evaluation, and teaching innovation in Italian and European schools.
The December issue of the newsletter “The Insights of the Statistical Department”, del mese di aprile è dedicata alla scoping review “L’INVALSI e il valore dei dati per la ricerca educativa”. Le scoping review sono uno strumento sempre più utilizzato nella ricerca educativa per ottenere una visione ampia e strutturata della letteratura disponibile su un determinato tema.
This volume brings together a selection of papers presented during the 8th Seminar “INVALSI data: a tool for research and teaching” (Rome, 23–26 November 2023). The aim is to promote an integrated improvement in education, combining merit, innovation and attention to learning difficulties.
INVALSI has issued a public call to compile its list of reviewers for the INVALSI Scientific Journal.
In this issue of the newsletter “The Insights of the Statistical Department”, we continue along the same line of analysis as in the previous issue of September 2025, where we began an in-depth exploration of the interactions between students’ socio-demographic characteristics, this time focusing on migrant background and its interactions with other conditions of vulnerability.
INVALSI is launching a new idea competition for upper secondary school students, inviting them to contribute to the design of the new scientific journal, the European Journal of Evaluation and Research in Education.
