Argomento della newsletter “The insights of the Statistical Department” sono i risultati
dell’indagine internazionale PIRLS (Progress in International Reading Literacy Study) 2021,
promossa dalla IEA (International Association for the Evaluation of Educational Achievement).
As usual, the August issue of the newsletter “Insights from the Statistical Department” is dedicated to the results of the National Student Assessment Surveys, summarised during the presentation of the INVALSI 2025 Report, which took place on 9 July at the Chamber of Deputies’ Palazzo dei Gruppi Parlamentari in Rome.
This volume brings together several papers presented during the VII Seminar “INVALSI Data: A Tool for Research and Teaching” (Rome, October 27–30, 2022). The contributions explore the value and impact of self-evaluation processes, with particular attention to the use of standardized tests, the involvement of school communities, and educational experiences that foster a widespread and shared culture of assessment.
