Requests for "Ad Hoc" data, i.e., data that are not in the site's Data Catalog and/or that require specific processing to be carried out, may be requested from the INVALSI Statistical Department and released if it appears that the regulatory provisions regarding the protection of personal data are guaranteed.

For a preliminary assessment of the feasibility and of the processing procedure, an email can be sent to INVALSI's Statistical Department at uff.statistico@invalsi.it. Please note that this type of request will be taken up in the period from early September to the end of January.

The following forms, completed, signed and accompanied by all necessary documentation, are also invited to be sent to the above address of the Statistical Office:

• A formal request letter on official letterhead containing the applicant’s details and affiliation, a brief description of the research project and its objectives, and specifications of the INVALSI data requested (school year, level, variables, etc.) in accordance with the template available for download here;
• Research Proposal Form (Attachment 3bis, downloadable as doc or pdf);
• Copy of the identification document of the Researcher in charge of the project;
• Individual confidentiality statement of the Researcher in charge of the research project (Attachment 4bis, downloadable as doc or pdf);
• Individual confidentiality statement of other researchers (Attachment 5a, downloadable as doc or pdf);
• Supplementary attestation in case of joint projects (Annex 6bis, downloadable in format doc or pdf).
