INVALSI, since more than 20 years, has been engaged in the construction of Italian, Mathematics and English tests, following the most internationally accredited technical-scientific methodologies, in order to measure the competences of male and female students at different steps of the school path.

For these reasons, the Institute offers an important training opportunity aimed at providing participants with both theoretical and practical tools for the design of large-scale standardized assessment tests.

The course, held exclusively in person, will take place from Monday, November 13 to Friday, 17 November, 2023, at the INVALSI Library “Aldo Visalberghi” (Via Ippolito Nievo, 35 – Rome). It will include a mix of lectures (featuring moments for reflection and group discussion) and hands-on workshop activities.

Those interested in applying must hold a Master’s Degree (or an equivalent degree under the former Italian university system) that qualifies them to teach Italian, Mathematics, or English in primary or lower/upper secondary schools. Applications can be submitted from 16 to 27 october, 2023.

A maximum of 30 participants will be admitted.
