First edition of the second-level Master's program 'Theories, Methodologies, and Practices for Measuring Equity in the School System – MISEQ

On the initiative of the Faculty of Education at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, the first edition of the second-level Master’s program “MISEQ – Theories, Methodologies, and Practices for Measuring Equity in the School System” has been launched.
The Master’s program aims to train experts capable of developing standardized assessments and, at the same time, analyzing and utilizing the resulting data to foster the academic success of every student, promoting greater equity in educational opportunities. Through a highly specialized training pathway, participants will acquire theoretical knowledge, methodological tools, and practical skills to design and conduct standardized surveys and interpret their data.
The program is structured into interdisciplinary modules that integrate various subjects and include classroom activities (lectures, workshops, exercises) as well as individual study and reflection.
Teaching activities will take place from December 2025 to December 2026.
Each module will include monthly sessions held over the weekend: on Fridays from 2:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and on Saturdays from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Classroom activities will be available both in person (at the Milan campus of Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore) and remotely in synchronous mode.
Among the members of the Faculty are expert trainers and specialists in the relevant topics, including professors and researchers from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore and INVALSI.
