"INVALSI data: a research tool"

CALL FOR PROPOSAL
On September 20, 2016, a Seminar organized by INVALSI (National Institute for the Evaluation of the Educational and Training System) was held in Rome entitled "INVALSI data: a tool for research" aimed at promoting and supporting the usefulness and potential of using INVALSI data in scientific research. The census data collected annually by the Institute are a very valuable tool for investigating the quality of the school system and for defining possible support or strengthening interventions. All the stakeholders presented completed research analysis based on INVALSI data. Indeed, the ultimate goal of the initiative is to give prominence and visibility to the proposals deemed suitable for the scientific community.
The selected proposals, if not yet published, will be collected in a printed volume with an ISBN code on the theme of the seminar.
PROGRAM
SUBMISSION
Those interested in submitting a proposal should register on the website https://invalsi-serviziostatistico.cineca.it/pon1420/?form=registrazione_seminari_settembre2016&pon=2014 and submit an abstract of their work, in Italian and English, of a maximum of 3,000 characters no later than noon on July 15, 2016. Abstracts should contain the sense of the entire work: the objective, the adopted methodology and the main results achieved.
Proposals will be evaluated by a committee appointed by the INVALSI Director, which will choose those to be presented during the seminar. Notification of the acceptance of each proposals will be made by July 20, 2016.
Accepted proposals must be submitted by noon on September 6, 2016 using the platform https://invalsi-serviziostatistico.cineca.it/pon1420/?form=area_riservata_settembre2016&cod=b&pon=2014.
By noon on September 15, 2016, each author must upload to the appropriate platform the presentation he or she will use during the Seminar.
