The FLIP+ Library Consortium was established with the aim of creating a secure and reliable space for sharing high-quality assessment items, developed, tested and validated by public institutions within their respective education systems, to support learning improvement.
On 11 and 12 December, the Consortium met at the historic headquarters of Sorbonne University in Paris to review the project’s progress, discuss the quality of digital assessment content and define the next stages of the FLIP+ Library 2026–2030 Roadmap.
During the meeting, discussions included, amongst other things:
- how to design high-quality assessment content in real-world contexts
- how to enable participating institutions to contribute their own items, accompanied by metadata and psychometric information
- how to encourage the reuse of stimuli and item structures for the development of new content.
INVALSI took part in the meeting, contributing to the technical and methodological discussions alongside the project’s international partners from Brazil, France, Lithuania, Norway and UNESCO.
This joint effort confirms the value of international collaboration focused on quality, sharing and the development of increasingly robust and useful assessment tools for education systems.
