Gender gaps in science affect training, education, professional and academic careers, and the content of scientific innovation. The seminar aims to broadly investigate the reasons for female students' less propensity towards certain subjects identified mainly in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) disciplines.

In occasione della Giornata dello Spazio 2023, INVALSI ha il piacere di invitare studentesse e studenti, genitori, docenti, ricercatrici e ricercatori e quanti interessati al Seminario (fruibile anche online) di martedì 12 dicembre, dalle ore 14.00 alle ore 16.00: C’è “Spazio” per le donne nella scienza?
L’evento, giunto all’ottava edizione, ha tra i suoi obiettivi quello di avvicinare il mondo della ricerca scientifica e della scuola per costruire uno spazio privilegiato in cui arricchire il confronto, attraverso la condivisione di idee e pratiche fra operatori del settore dell’istruzione e della ricerca.
INVALSI, since more than 20 years, has been engaged in the construction of Italian, Mathematics and English tests, following the most internationally accredited technical-scientific methodologies, in order to measure the competences of male and female students at different steps of the school path.
