In this issue of the newsletter “Insights from the Statistical Department”, readers will have the opportunity to explore a topic related to the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR), which was the subject of a plenary session during the 8th edition of the Seminar “INVALSI Data: A Tool for Research and Teaching.” With the approval of the PNRR, a series of initiatives have been launched to support the country’s recovery across various sectors — including, of course, the key sector of education.
We take advantage of this time of year — which, for the Institute, represents the culmination of one of its most well-known activities — to dedicate this issue of the newsletter “Insights from the Statistical Department” to an overview of the INVALSI assessments: their introduction and the regulatory changes that have taken place over the years.
On May 27, the event “INEQUALITIES, INNOVATION, AND EDUCATION” will take place, presenting research projects on the topic of educational poverty in Italy.
This issue of the newsletter “Insights from the Statistical Department” is dedicated to the Research Seminar “The New INVALSI Data Feedback Platform: The Voice of Schools”, held in Rome on 28 March 2024 at the INVALSI “Aldo Visalberghi” Library. The event brought together a sample of Italian school leaders and teachers, alongside INVALSI staff.
We are pleased to announce that the call for abstracts for the XVII ESPAnet Italy Conference is now open. The conference will be held in Naples from 4 to 6 September 2024!
