The seminar aims to broadly investigate the reasons for female students' less propensity towards certain subjects identified mainly in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) disciplines.
The topic of this issue of the Statistical Department Insights newsletter is the results of three international surveys: PIRLS 2021 and ICCS 2022 (both promoted by the IEA), and PISA 2022 (conducted under the auspices of the OECD).
