This volume brings together a selection of papers presented during the 8th Seminar “INVALSI data: a tool for research and teaching” (Rome, 23–26 November 2023). The aim is to promote an integrated improvement in education, combining merit, innovation and attention to learning difficulties.

INVALSI is launching a new idea competition for upper secondary school students, inviting them to contribute to the design of the new scientific journal, the European Journal of Evaluation and Research in Education.

It provides data, reflections, and practical strategies to promote a more equitable and inclusive education system.
The inaugural lecture of the Level II Master’s programme “MISEQ – Theories, Methodologies and Practices for Measuring Equity in the School System” is scheduled for Friday 13 February 2026. The programme is organised by the Faculty of Education at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in collaboration with INVALSI.
